Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum one year of Job Corps or related program experience required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for students to achieve a positive attitude and proper behavior in dormitory living.
• Determine, recommend, and arrange student visits to counselors.
• Patrol and monitor dormitories and center ensuring safety and proper behavior.
• Prepare daily operations reports and administrative correspondence relating to students.
• Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory.
• Maintain dormitory and individual student files; ensure files are complete and up to date.
• Enter student case notes in the center information system.
• Participate in career development services by ensuring a safe living environment and mentoring peers.
• Provide guidance, counseling, group sessions and independent living skills.
• Overtime as needed; regular attendance.
