Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in Mississippi seeks a Residential Advisor Supervisor responsible for safe, clean dorm living and student success.

You will manage dorm staff, coordinate coverage, conduct hiring and disciplinary actions, and provide case management with counseling staff to support retention and program completion. The role requires high school diploma and one year Job Corps experience; driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred.
• A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required.
• A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily management of the respective dorm area and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and concerns.
• Interviews, recommends for hire, disciplines, recommends for termination and evaluates the performance of the employees in the Residential Department.
• Maintains inventory levels and proactively orders supplies to meet department requirements.
• Provides required training for new and current employees and mentors staff for career progression.
• Provides high-quality supervision and management for the student population and ensures student progress and success in the program.
