Job summary

QXO is seeking a Service Technician (Doors and Windows) to perform service, repair, maintenance, and warranty work at customer locations and job sites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, document work, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The role may cover doors, windows, millwork, building products, equipment, or related systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to handle

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls.

• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, warranty, construction, or related industries.
• Experience servicing building products such as doors, windows, millwork, or similar systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of installation, adjustment, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, repair, warranty, and inspection work at customer locations and job sites.
• Review work orders and prepare materials, parts, and tools for service calls.
• Document service findings, repairs, and recommendations.
• Communicate with customers about repair status and next steps.
• Maintain and operate assigned company vehicle and tools.
• Assist with ordering materials and coordinating future service visits.
• Contribute to safety and process improvements.
