Job summary

QXO is seeking a Service Technician to perform service, repair, maintenance, and warranty work at customer locations and jobsites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, document work, and deliver an exceptional customer experience across diverse building products and systems.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and committed to safety, quality workmanship, and operational excellence, with strong communication and the ability to manage multiple service calls daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot field issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; professional demeanor in customer sites.
• Ability to manage multiple service calls and stay organized in a dynamic field environment.
• Willingness to travel between customer locations and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty work at customer locations and jobsites.
• Diagnose product issues, implement repairs, and document completed work with photos and tickets.
• Inspect installations to ensure quality and manufacturer specifications are met.
• Load vehicles with required products, materials, and tools; verify stock before service calls.
• Communicate with customers on status, recommendations, and follow-up service; maintain professionalism.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, safety, and daily tool/equipment checks.
• Support safety programs, OSHA compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
