Shooter's Billiards and Sports Bar Cedar Park and N. Austin is hiring a Door Person/Bar Back to join our energetic team. You will verify ages at the door, greet guests, and help keep the floor safe and welcoming for a great experience.

This role supports bartenders during peak hours, stocks bar supplies, and helps maintain a clean, well‑stocked bar environment late nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• TABC certification and food handlers certificate required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer-first attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain calm and professional demeanor in a busy venue.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs and verify age compliance at the door.
• Greet guests as they enter to set a welcoming tone.
• Monitor crowd flow and maintain a safe atmosphere.
• Stock and restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, mixers, ice, and glassware.
• Keep bar areas clean and organized to support bartenders.
• Remove debris and assist with running supplies during peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs and verify age compliance at the door to ensure a safe and legal environment
• Greet and welcome guests as they enter, setting the tone for a great experience
• Monitor crowd flow and maintain a safe, orderly atmosphere throughout the venue
• Stock and restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, mixers, ice, and glassware
• Keep bar areas clean, organized, and fully stocked to support bartenders during peak hours
• Remove empty bottles, glasses, and debris from the bar and surrounding areas
• Assist bartenders with restocking and running supplies to ensure smooth bar operations

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• TABC certification and food handlers certificate required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
