Job summary

Easy Bar is hiring a Door Staff team in Chicago to be the first contact for guests. We expect friendly, professional service, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safe, enjoyable environments.

Starting at $20/hour. Part-time and full-time positions available. You will greet guests, check IDs, manage lines, enforce rules, and help keep the venue fun and secure. Equal Opportunity Employer; must be 21+, able to stand long hours, and work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Well-spoken individual with ability to effectively interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Be a good teammate.
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly way and check IDs as they enter the establishment
• Maintain lines and crowd control
• Enforce rules to keep the location fun and safe, and remove guests if needed
• Clean and remove trash throughout bar, including patios and restrooms
• Assist in private parties as needed, including setup, tear down, cleaning, and assisting guests with their belongings to their cars
