Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Mechanical Door Installer for a company in Bessemer, AL. The role involves measuring, cutting, and installing door hardware and frames using power tools and hand tools.

You will read blueprints, adjust doors and openers, and install spring mechanisms. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior door-installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Cut, measure, move, and install materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Use blueprints to install door hardware including hinges, stoppers, and handles.
• Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort or adjust electric openers.
• Carry springs to tops of doors, using ladders or scaffolding, and attach springs to tracks.
• Install door frames, rails, rolling curtains, electronic-eye mechanisms, or electric door openers and closers.
• Assemble and fasten tracks to structures using impact wrenches or welding equipment.

MECHANICAL DOOR INSTALLER

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mechanical Door Installer for a company based in Bessemer, AL.

Pay Rate

Pay is strictly dependent on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 30 pm.

Mechanical Door Installer Duties and Responsibilities

• Cut, Measure, Move, and Install materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Use Blueprints to Install Door Hardware including Hinges, Stoppers, and Handles
• Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort or make simple adjustments to electric openers.
• Carry springs to tops of doors, using ladders or scaffolding, and attach springs to tracks to install spring systems.
• Install door frames, rails, steel rolling curtains, electronic-eye mechanisms, or electric door openers and closers, using power tools, hand tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Assemble and fasten tracks to structures or bucks, using impact wrenches or welding equipment and structural components.

Mechanical Door Installer Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma
• Prior experience in Door installation
• Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to: Willing to Work on Knees, Willing to Work Outside When Necessary, and Can lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read a lined tape measure to a 32nd of an inch.
