ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions seeks a Specification Writer/Sales Support professional to develop door and hardware specifications for commercial buildings, partnering with architects and our sales team. You will leverage Openings Studio and Salesforce to drive accurate, compliant submittals and strong customer experiences.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, multi-tasking, and independent work ethic, with travel to meet customer needs and a focus on delivering on-time project milestones.

Qualifications

• College/University degree in architectural design, engineering, construction science/management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of industry-related experience with openings as a commercial locksmith, door frames/hardware installer, contractor’s license for installation, CHD project manager for school/healthcare/institutional facilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with CRM tools for sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical door and hardware specifications for commercial building applications.
• Assist design professionals on innovative, code-compliant door opening solutions.
• Utilize Openings Studio to enhance workflow and project management.
• Collaborate with Architectural Sales Representatives to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Support submittal reviews and substitution approvals during bids.
• Maintain customer relationships and project tracking in Salesforce.
