Job summary

LaForce is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Technician to join the Detroit, MI team. You will handle inbound receiving, labeling, palletizing, and staging of door hardware and materials, ensuring accurate job fulfillment.

A forklift is preferred or willingness to be trained; expect drug screening and background checks as part of the process. Work hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, organized, and able to jump in with minimal supervision.
• Experience shipping or receiving products is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/move frequently on shift.
• Experience operating a forklift or willingness to be trained is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check in hardware, doors, frames, and specialty products.
• Label and separate hardware according to receiving sheets.
• Palletize, shrink wrap, and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
• Operate forklift and handle shipping logistics, including UPS processing.
