Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Chester, VA is seeking an Assembler II for doors to join a production team. You will assemble glass doors, frames, and subcomponents following standard work instructions and traveler documents, using hand/tools and performing quality checks on components and finished units.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace, following SOPs, and supporting cross-training with teammates in a fast-paced environment while meeting safety and production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production assembly experience preferred.
• Basic reading/writing, PC and math skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies and units per work instructions.
• Operate hand, electric and pneumatic tools, follow SOPs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 6S.
• Inspect parts and finished units with basic measurement tools.
• Assist with setups and cross-train with teammates.
