Job summary

You will read work instructions, inspect parts with gauges, perform end-of-line checks, and communicate changes to keep products within specification while contributing to yield improvements.

• 1–2 years of production assembly work.
• Basic reading/writing skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of 6S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into subassemblies or completed units per work instructions.
• Inspect parts or completed units using gauges, tape measures, calipers, etc.
• Perform end-of-line checks and repairs as needed.
• Notify assemblers, leads, and supervisors of changes to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist assembly groups with problem solving.
• Suggest in-line and downstream checks to increase first-pass yield.
