Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is hiring an Assembler II for doors at our Chester site to work as part of a production team assembling glass doors, frames, and subcomponents. You will follow work orders and standard SOPs to meet safety, quality, and output targets.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of production assembly experience, and basic math/reading skills. You will lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment; medical/dental/vision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading/writing, math, and measurement skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and fractions/decimals.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding of 6S and clean/organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies and units per traveler/standard work.
• Operate hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas following 6S.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments under supervision.
• Inspect parts/units using gauges and calipers.
• Follow SOPs and supervisor instructions; report defects.
• Cross-train teammates and support production as needed.
• Perform various assembly duties with minimal supervision.
