Specialty Building Products is seeking a Production Assembler in Smithfield, RI, with a 6:00 AM start time. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with the first two weeks shadowing a mentor to learn responsibilities and safety processes before fully integrating into the assembly team.

The job involves using hand and electric tools to assemble interior and exterior door units, preparing materials with exact measurements, and reading work orders to ensure precise assembly.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools, staple guns and other electric tools when necessary.
• Reading work orders to ensure accuracy of assembly.
• Hit safety, quality and production goals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble interior and exterior door units using kitted frame parts and prepped doors.
• Prepare materials for assembly with exact measurements.
• Read work orders to ensure accuracy and quality of assembly in the warehouse.
• Make repairs or adjustments to ensure quality compliance.
• Meet safety, quality and production goals; eligible for quarterly bonus.
