Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Production Assembler in Smithfield, RI, with a 6:00 AM start time. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with the first two weeks shadowing a mentor to learn responsibilities and safety processes before fully integrating into the assembly team.

The job involves using hand and electric tools to assemble interior and exterior door units, preparing materials with exact measurements, and reading work orders to ensure precise assembly.

Reeb Millwork, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Production Assembler to join our VALUES based organization.

The Production Assembler position is scheduled M-F out of Smithfield, RI. The start time of the shift is 6:00 AM and full-time assemblers can leave once the day's production is finished. Assemblers will spend their first 2 weeks shadowing a mentor to learn the responsibilities and safety processes of the role. After the 2-week period the employee will be a full member of the assembly team and will be entrusted to use the machinery required for their role.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Ability to use hand tools, staple guns and other electric tools when necessary
• Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble interior and exterior door units
• Prep material for assembly using exact measurements
• Read work orders to ensure accuracy of assembly within warehouse
• Make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure quality compliance
• Hit safety, quality and production goals to receive a bonus at the end of each quarter
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards

Starting Pay based on experience: $19.50+/hr.
