Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Assembler in Post Paint to join our team for assembling custom door units, including doubles and patios, with transoms and/or special hardware. Finish carpentry and woodworking experience required. Starting up to $20/hr based on experience.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm. Mandatory OT as needed for production. Responsibilities include assembling semi-custom door units from kit parts, preparing materials with exact measurements,

Qualifications

• Finish carpentry and woodworking experience required.
• Must be able to read tape measure and read technical drawings.
• Ability to use specialized carpentry tools and power/electric tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble semi-custom single door units using kit frame parts and prepped doors.
• Prep material for assembly using exact measurements.
• Operate saws to cut material.
• Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly.
• Use power tools for door prep.
• Apply hardware such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks and panic hardware.
