Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Production Assembler on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri) with starting pay at $17.50/hr based on experience. Join our values-based organization and contribute to our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment.

You will assemble semi-custom single door units from prepped parts, prepare materials with exact measurements, and operate various saws to cut material. A safe, quality-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read tape measure.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessary.
• Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-worker.

Responsibilities

• Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble semi-custom single door units.
• Prep material for assembly using exact measurements.
• Operate several different saws to cut material.
• Complete the quality product label.
