Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Production Assembler to join our team for assembling custom door units, including doubles, patios, and cut-downs with transoms and/or special hardware.

Finish carpentry and woodworking experience is required. This is 1st shift, Monday through Friday with mandatory overtime as needed for production. Starting pay is up to $20/hr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with specialized carpentry tools required.
• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun, and other electric tools.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble semi-custom single door units from kit parts.
• Prep material for assembly using exact measurements.
• Operate saws to cut material.
• Read work orders to ensure accuracy of assembly.
• Apply hardware such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks, and panic hardware.
