Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) is seeking a Layup Operator to perform Feeder, Panel Flip, Door Build, and Sorter tasks. You will rotate through duties, verify parts, and maintain the daily production schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include assembling interior doors, inspecting components, and keeping the work area clean while meeting output targets. This role supports efficient door production across multiple stations on site.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Able to use a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate Feeder, Panel Flip, Door Build, and Sorter as part of layup duties.
• Rotate through each station to build efficiency and meet production targets.
• Keep work area clean and organized and adhere to daily Production Building Schedule.
• Inspect door parts for defects and ensure correct assembly of Stile, Rail, Lock Block, and Core.
• Maintain output pace: 30 assembled doors per 8:30 minutes.
