Job summary

Temp-Stop in Lee's Summit is launching Baxters, a coffee and donut concept, and seeks individuals to join the overnight pastry production team. You will prepare dough, fry and glaze donuts, and support the general manager with staff and scheduling. Starting pay is $16.00/hour with a $0.50 shift premium from midnight to 6 a.m.

Health insurance available after 90 days. We expect commitment to a safe, sanitary kitchen, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Temp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 Convenience Store locations and 2 Liquor Stores.

WE NEED YOU TO BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY!

We are developing a new Coffee/Donut concept named Baxters. The store will be located in Lee's Summit

We will serve latte's and other coffee specialites, as well as manufacture donuts for retail, as well as delivery to our Temp-Stop locations daily. We are looking for a few individuals who like to work overnight cooking and icing donuts!

Primary Responsibilities

We’re searching for individuals who want to make this a career and have a passion for creating baked goods. We understand these are hard times and strive to provide a safe workspace (we abide by CDC guidelines)

This position entails pastry prep, making dough, crafting garnishes, shaping dough, frying donuts, icing, and garnishing donuts and helping the general manager manage the staff, operate the production when the general manager is off, help the general manager with scheduling, ordering, etc.

Pay Frequency: Bi weekly
Starting pay is $16.00 an hour depending upon experience. If you have advanced management experience, starting pay can be higher.
Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from Mid-night to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
Earn a performance review in a little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.
Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date.
Vacation Pay, Over-time pay over 40 hours, Annual Bonus based upon store profits, Over-time pay for those that work the Holidays.

The function of the manager is to perform the following duties in a friendly and professional manner ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance as well as the items above.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)
• Stocking shelves and coolers
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests
• Available weekend, evening shifts and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)
• Physical Requirements
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
• Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
• Be able to freely access all areas of the store
• Move quickly around store
