Job summary

Temp-Stop is opening a Baxters coffee/donut concept in Lee's Summit, MO, and seeks individuals to work overnight pastry prep and donut production. The role involves dough making, icing, garnishing, frying, and maintaining sanitary kitchen practices in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with a $0.50 bump from midnight to 6 a.m.; benefits include health insurance after 90 days, vacation pay, and overtime pay for >40 hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.

• Restock items as needed during the shift.
• Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.
• Production typically starts at 7am for mixers and fryers; icing and finishing at ~9am to 5pm.

Temp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 Convenience Store locations and 2 Liquor Stores. WE NEED YOU TO BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY!
We are developing a new Coffee/Donut concept named Baxters. The store will be located in Lee's Summit. We will serve latte's and other coffee specialties, as well as manufacture donuts for retail, as well as delivery to our Temp-Stop locations daily. We are looking for a few individuals who like to work overnight cooking and icing donuts!

Primary Responsibilities

This position entails pastry prep, making dough, crafting garnishes, shaping dough, frying donuts, icing, and garnishing donuts.

Job Duties:

Pay Frequency: Bi weekly
Starting pay is $16.00 an hour depending upon experience. If you have advanced management experience.
Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from Mid-night to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
Earn a performance review in a little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.
Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date.
Vacation Pay, Over-time pay over 40 hours, Annual Bonus based upon store profits, Over-time pay for those that work the Holidays.

The function of the manager is to perform the following duties in a friendly and professional manner ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance as well as the items above:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)
• Stocking shelves and coolers
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests
• Available weekend, evening shifts and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)
• Physical Requirements
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
• Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
• Be able to freely access all areas of the store
• Move quickly around store
