Join Our Team as a Donut Baker at Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel

We are seeking a dedicated Donut Baker to prepare and provide fresh baked goods for various venues within the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Mix, bake, and prepare ingredients to produce baked goods and desserts using appropriate techniques.
  • Check the production schedule to determine the variety and quantity of baked goods needed.
  • Organize and rotate stock in the pantry.
  • Propose new menu ideas and suggestions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food service laws and requirements at the company, county, state, and federal levels.
  • Attend departmental meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least six months of professional baking experience in a full-service establishment.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in heating, cooling, reheating, and sanitation procedures.
Physical Demands

This position is classified as medium strength. Employees may exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. The role requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and communication. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
