San Diego Blood Bank is seeking a Donor Technician 1 (Part-time 1) at the Sabre Springs Donor Center. Under RN supervision, you will assist with donor safety, product integrity, and customer service while maintaining confidentiality of donor information.

No license or certification is required, though phlebotomy training is preferred. The role offers paid on‑the‑job training and a flexible schedule to support donors and the organization.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or Medical Assistant training preferred but not essential.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure quality and safety standards are met in all procedures.
• Assist with donor safety and product integrity under RN supervision.
• Update supervision on adverse reactions and donor considerations; document as required.
• Promote donor retention and provide outstanding customer service.
• Follow SOPs, maintain competency, and communicate professionally at all times.
