Job summary

San Diego Blood Bank is seeking a Donor Technician 1 for the Encinitas Donor Center. The role focuses on donor safety, product quality, and maintaining compliance with SOPs under RN supervision.

You will assist with donor management, scheduling, and customer service to ensure a positive donor experience while learning phlebotomy procedures and safety standards in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not essential.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality and safety standards are met.
• Assist with donor safety and product safety, under RN supervision.
• Support donor rescheduling and retention through excellent customer service.
