Job summary

San Diego Blood Bankin Irvine's Donor Technician 1T - SoCal provides critical support for donor safety and the quality of collected products. Under RN supervision, you will assist with donor care, adverse reactions, and precise documentation while delivering outstanding customer service at the Irvine Donor Center.

Starting pay is $22.65 per hour with paid training and opportunities to advance in phlebotomy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant or phlebotomy certification preferred but not essential.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure donor safety and product safety standards.
• Assist with donor rescheduling and retention through customer service.
• Under RN supervision, support adverse reactions management and documentation.
• Follow SOPs and maintain professional communication.
