San Diego Blood Bank seeks a Donor Technician 1 - CDC to support donor safety and the integrity of collected products. Under RN supervision, you will assist with safety, documentation, and maintaining confidentiality of donor information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not essential.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, potency and purity of all products collected.
• Assist with donor safety and product quality under RN supervision.
• Document adverse reactions and assist with management as directed.
• Support donor retention and outstanding customer service.
• Follow the Daily Collection Plan and optimize collections.
