San Diego Blood Bank is seeking a Donor Technician 1 to ensure the safety and quality of collected blood products. In this role, you will assist with donor care, comply with safety standards, and support organizational goals. A high school diploma is required, and while certification is preferred, it’s not mandatory.

This full-time position is located at the Clairemont Mesa Donor Center with varying hours. As part of your employment, you'll enjoy various health benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not essential.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety, potency and purity of all products collected.
• Acts under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Supports organizational strategic goals and donor retention.
