The Nature Conservancy seeks an Associate Director of Development on Oahu to drive multi-year fundraising and build strong donor relationships. You will manage a 60–100 donor portfolio, conduct regular visits, and coordinate with global offices to secure gifts, including bequest opportunities.

A background in major gifts and Hawaii fundraising is preferred. With a starting salary in the $99,300–$113,100 range, you will play a key role in advancing TNC’s mission while collaborating across teams

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents.
• Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $50,000 or more.
• Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably in a large non-profit.
• Experience working with fundraising principles and practices.
• Fundraising in Hawaii or familiarity with local donors is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, and coordinate multi-year fundraising strategies and plans.
• Manage a portfolio of 60–100 donors and conduct 60–100 visits annually.
• Solicit gifts to meet a $1,000,000+ annual fundraising goal and oversee bequest opportunities.
• Collaborate with field and Worldwide Office teams to align priorities and donor interests.
• Develop budgets and proposals and maintain donor databases for accurate tracking.
