Job summary

YouVersion is seeking a Donor Relationship Specialist to nurture mid-level donors at scale, delivering timely acknowledgments, sharing impact, and guiding donors toward deeper engagement. The role emphasizes personalized communication, stewardship planning, and recognizing milestones.

You will collaborate with the Donor Relations Director, maintain CRM records, monitor giving patterns, support upgrades, and contribute to retention metrics while upholding Life.Church ministry values.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with donors and teammates.
• Strong relational skills for authentic, long-term partnerships.
• Self-motivated with independent decision-making and problem solving.
• Able to multitask and manage time to meet deadlines while staying flexible.
• Cultivate and maintain donor relationships through personalized communication.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of experience in donor relations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent, personalized contact with a portfolio of mid-level donors.
• Send timely gift acknowledgments and impact communications.
• Respond promptly to donor inquiries via the generosity inbox.
• Recognize milestones like anniversaries and cumulative giving thresholds.
• Develop and execute a stewardship plan with calls, notes, and event invitations.
• Support giving-tier upgrades and mid-level campaign asks.
• Coordinate with the Director of Donor Relations on communications and events.
• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM and monitor for lapses.
