Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in Madison, AL is seeking a Donor Services Team Leader to supervise donor collections and donor technicians, ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs.

The role requires strong leadership, multitasking, and customer service, with responsibilities including overseeing donor collection functions, paperwork, and stock management. Starting salary is $17.50–$19.25/hour, full-time, with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Oversee donor collection functions
• Ensure all collections operations comply with LifeSouth Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Oversee, direct and monitor all activities of staff
• Properly complete and account for all paperwork, test tubes and blood
• Ensure quality control on all blood collection equipment is performed and records are maintained appropriately
• Maintain stock supply in donor room
• Display positive customer service skills to both internal and external customers
