Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a Donor Services Manager in Montgomery, AL to lead blood collection operations, oversee donor recruitment, and ensure achievement of annual goals. CDL experience is strongly preferred, with a focus on premier donor care and staff leadership.

This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits including PTO and health insurances. Responsibilities include supervising staff, planning collections, and promoting LifeSouth’s mission within the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience.
• CDL preferred and valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with common computer software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee blood collection and donor recruitment regional activities.
• Monitor regional projections to meet or exceed collection goals.
• Supervise staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Direct all aspects of whole blood, apheresis, and automated collection operations.
• Drive bloodmobiles when necessary and ensure safety protocols.
