BioLife Plasma Services in Springfield, MO is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomy support to ensure donor safety and accurate recordkeeping. You'll greet donors, collect vital signs, and assist with donor compensation in a fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks involve glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes per procedures.
• Support donors across varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
