Job summary

Vitalant in Spokane, WA is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support our lifesaving mission by engaging donors, scheduling donations, and coordinating at fixed-site locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience; you’ll partner with teams to recruit, train new staff, and deliver exceptional donor experiences. Schedule Tue-Sat, 9–5:30, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in customer service.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the donor experience by providing excellent customer service.
• Collaborate on specialized calling projects, to include conversions, reminders calls and engaging first time donors.
• Support blood centers by implementing innovative recruitment strategies, managing donor scheduling, and offering expertise on eligibility and donation requirements.
• Contribute to the onboarding of new hires and conduct refresher training to both new and existing staff.
