Job summary

Church World Service seeks a Donor Relations Coordinator to advance its philanthropic pipeline through personalized stewardship, cultivation, and qualification for mid-level donors. The role emphasizes timely, relationship-centered engagement via calls, emails, videos, and written notes.

You will coordinate with gift officers to ensure donors receive exceptional care and impact reporting, manage a high-volume caseload, and document interactions in the donor database.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage donors and ask insightful questions.
• Experience with CRM systems and donor databases.
• Minimum 3 years in fundraising, donor stewardship, or related roles.
• Experience with disaster response fundraising or urgent campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Donor stewardship & thank-you outreach for mid-level donors (approx 700–1000).
• Donor cultivation & engagement through campaigns and storytelling.
• Pipeline development & qualification for major gifts.
• Planned giving support and donor reporting.
• Administrative tracking and data management of donor interactions.
