Job summary

Vaco/Highspring is seeking a Donor Relations Manager in Jacksonville, FL to enhance donor experiences while safeguarding donor data. The role blends donor relations, database administration, gift processing, stewardship, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, relationship-focused, and comfortable engaging with donors, churches, and partners. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will support the development team and help strengthen long-term donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in donor relations, fundraising, nonprofit development, or related field preferred.
• Strong donor relationship and customer service skills.
• Comfortable networking and building relationships with donors, churches, and community partners.
• Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, or other computerized data systems.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary donor contact and provide high-level service.
• Build and maintain donor relationships and handle requests promptly.
• Coordinate donor acknowledgements through mail, email, and phone.
• Create and maintain donor thank-you letters and stewardship communications.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen donor engagement and retention.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive donor information.
• Maintain oversight of the donor database and gift processing activities.
• Prepare donor and development reports for leadership and the Board.
• Support training of database staff as needed.
• Develop strategies to grow legacy giving and engage community partners.
