Job summary

The California Community Foundation seeks a Philanthropic Operations Associate to support donor and fund operations, manage the donor portal, and assist with grantmaking. This in-office role requires strong organization, donor services, and cross-team collaboration.

You will handle inquiries, maintain accurate donor records in Blackbaud, coordinate events, and contribute to process improvements. After 100 days, two remote days per week are possible with in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related professional experience, including donor-services
• 3+ years with Blackbaud software
• Strong computer proficiency and MS Office
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide responsive service
• Knowledge of LA County nonprofit community and grantmaking processes

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for donors, funders, advisors, prospects, and grantees
• Manage donor/fund operations and donor portal access
• Coordinate donor relations inbox and phone line
• Maintain donor/fund data in Blackbaud/ Raiser's Edge
• Provide admin support: scheduling, correspondence, invoices, travel, events
• Conduct donor research and prepare summaries for presentations
• Coordinate events, invitations, RSVPs, and materials
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure responsive donor service
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and data management
• Support Office of Philanthropy goals and cross-functional initiatives
