Job summary

The San Francisco Foundation is seeking an Associate in Philanthropy and Gift Planning Operations to support data integrity, gift processing, reporting, and system administration. The role collaborates with internal teams, leadership, vendors, and consultants to ensure efficient operations and donor engagement.

Key responsibilities include maintaining donor records, generating lists, and producing dashboards in Salesforce, Fluxx, and related platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant nonprofit data entry and donor data experience.
• Experience with nonprofit databases; Salesforce preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to learn new applications, platforms and systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process gifts, acknowledgements, and receipts accurately and timely.
• Maintain and update donor and fund records.
• Generate donor lists for mailings, newsletters, and engagement.
• Produce reports and dashboards to track donor engagement and activity.
• Support donor fund administration and statements.
