Job summary

Summer Search NYC is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to advance fundraising goals through relationship-based philanthropy and donor engagement. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, you will translate strategy into action, manage donor relationships, and drive revenue progress with a 2-day office hybrid model in Manhattan.

You will build a high-performing development function, manage a portfolio of donors, and collaborate with program and finance teams to achieve impact for students

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in development/fundraising with a portfolio of individual donors preferred.
• Experience supporting or managing fundraising campaigns or development initiatives.
• Familiarity with NYC philanthropic networks and/or youth development or education organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with an annual goal of approximately $500k.
• Develop and execute donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Support annual giving strategies and major gift efforts through research and outreach.
• Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events, including the annual gala.
• Contribute to revenue tracking, pipeline reporting, and fundraising forecasting.
• Collaborate with Program, Finance, Marketing and other teams to support fundraising priorities.
