Job summary

Veterans Inc. seeks a Development Operations Coordinator to support gift entry, donor relations, and annual giving campaigns. The role collaborates with the Senior Fund Development Manager and is based onsite in the Development Office.

Responsibilities include donor database management, reconciliation between Finance and Development, and producing reports. Travel may be required, and a CORI check will be conducted. We offer comprehensive benefits and a 403B match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2–4 years of donor relations/nonprofit operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, grammar, writing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Gift entry into donor database and generate acknowledgement correspondence.
• Manage all web links and online donation platforms for annual donations.
• Facilitate weekly reconciliation between Finance and Development.
• Develop strategies for donor acknowledgment and timely communications.
• Administrative support for the Development Department; maintain donor records.
• Assist in implementing individual giving strategies and the annual giving campaign.
• Track giving and produce reports for the team.
• Assist with grant-seeking strategies and calendar of planned grants.
• Assist Sr. Fund Development Manager with unrestricted grants—application and reporting.
• Maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and grant-makers.
• Support communications and development materials.
