Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center Foundation seeks a Philanthropy Coordinate to provide administrative, logistical, and fundraising support for a team of 6 to 8 gift officers. The coordinator will help identify, engage, evaluate, solicit, recognize, and steward donors and will report to the Executive Director of Major Gifts and Campaign Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in a nonprofit fundraising environment; healthcare a plus.
• Detail oriented, proactive, works well individually and in a team.
• Strong oral and written communications; proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, logistical, project management, data entry and fundraising support for a team of 6–8 gift officers.
• Identify, engage, evaluate, solicit, recognize and steward donors; assist with cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Support Executive Director of Major Gifts and Campaign Director and philanthropy team with prioritization and task management.
• Answer main Foundation phone line and coordinate donor communications and print donor cards as needed.
• Assist with fundraising appeals, donor lists, editing, printing, mailing and project timelines.
• Prepare conference rooms, provide audio-visual support, and attend off-site Foundation events as needed.
• Maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge and pull reports for portfolio reviews.
