Job summary

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Donor Services & Events Coordinator to support the Philanthropy Department by coordinating donor cultivation events and handling gift processing, acknowledgments, and records management.

During peak fundraising months, you will help implement an events plan, manage scheduling and logistics, respond to donor inquiries, and ensure accurate data entry in fundraising systems, contributing to major gifts and annual giving programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of administrative support, data entry, and event planning experience.
• Proven customer service skills with strong interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence.
• Experience with fundraising databases and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist seasonally with gift processing, acknowledgements, and tax receipts.
• Support Donor Services Specialist with gift batching and donor acknowledgments.
• Develop and implement events plans for the Philanthropy Department and coordinate donor recognition events.
• Plan and coordinate organizational events and meetings, including schedules and logistics.
• Respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, and written channels with excellent service.
• Maintain records and update donor engagement history in fundraising systems.
