Job summary

Shriners Children’s Ohio is seeking a PRN Philanthropy Assistant to join our Philanthropy team. This role collaborates on events, donor cultivation, stewardship programs and donor database management, reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy.

It involves coordinating donor acknowledgments, in-kind donations, and general administrative operations. The position supports donor stewardship, engagement activities, and fundraising initiatives, including collaboration with Shrine Temples and

Qualifications

• 2 years of Philanthropy experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Healthcare fundraising experience desirable.
• Experience with Blackbaud or other CRM systems helps.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Director of Philanthropy in departmental duties.
• Process donations and prepare acknowledgment letters and donor correspondence.
• Track, update and maintain donor activities in the donor database.
• Create monthly fundraising reports and other database reports as needed.
• Draft donor correspondence and letters of acknowledgment for gifts and pledges.
• Assist with planning and execution of major fundraising events; handle day-of logistics.
