Job summary

Coptic Orphans is seeking a Donor Relations Specialist to serve as a primary contact for donors and sponsors. You will record donor data, process donations, and address inquiries while upholding our mission and values.

The role requires 1–3 years in donor relations or related fields, strong English communication, and familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office; Arabic reading/writing is a plus and knowledge of Coptic culture is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in donor relations, customer service, or database management.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; ability to understand Arabic is required (reading and writing proficiency is a plus).
• Knowledge of Coptic culture is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint; Salesforce proficiency is required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Persuasive, polished, and articulate communicator; must be comfortable and confident on the telephone with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing outreach and fundraising events; ensure smooth coordination.
• Engage with donors during campaigns to encourage contributions and strengthen relationships.
• Respond to donor inquiries via phone and email with timely, professional service.
• Support donor engagement through outreach and relationship-building.
• Record and update donor data in Salesforce; process donations and update payment methods.
