Job summary

Kintsugi Village in Detroit is seeking an exceptionally organized Development Coordinator to support donor relations, fundraising and events with warmth and hospitality.

This role focuses on keeping donor information organized, tracking commitments, and ensuring timely follow-up while coordinating with leadership on materials and meetings.

You will work across volunteers and programs to craft thoughtful donor experiences and sustain meaningful relationships with foundations and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit development, donor relations, executive support, customer service or hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a relationship-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain organized records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely follow-up with donors, foundations and partners.
• Track conversations, commitments, next steps and milestones.
• Prepare acknowledgment letters and donor communications with a personal touch.
• Maintain donor database with accurate, current information.
• Enter gifts, contacts, notes and fundraising activity.
• Produce simple reports and dashboards for leadership.
