Job summary

The Community College of Aurora Foundation seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising and donor stewardship. You will manage a portfolio of 50–75 donors, cultivate relationships, and drive annual fundraising goals across events and campaigns.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will collaborate on communications and campaigns, prepare reports, and expand the Foundation’s network. A hybrid schedule with regional community involvement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years experience managing donor relationships.
• Engaging, resilient, and positive personality with strong relationship-building.
• Willingness to align with CCA Foundation’s values and mission.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen existing funder relationships and build new partnerships.
• Develop a donor pipeline through research, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
• Manage a portfolio of 50–75 individual donors and prospects with personalized strategies.
• Set annual goals for visits, solicitations, dollars raised, retention, and acquisition.
• Support corporate partnerships for events and donor engagement activities.
• Manage the President's 1983 Society and donor retention strategies.
• Coordinate Development Committee meetings and fundraising activities.
• Collaborate on donor communications and materials to support campaigns.
• Prepare fundraising reports and maintain CRM donor records.
• Represent the Foundation in the community and participate in site visits.
