Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Development Systems Associate to manage donor gifts, pledges, and related records, ensuring accurate data entry, timely acknowledgments, and fundraising reporting.

You will support major gifts, payroll deductions, and campaigns, assist with Raiser's Edge and other systems, and serve as a resource for staff and volunteers.

The role requires Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in fundraising databases, with strong Microsoft Office skills and data integrity focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related technical training and experience in philanthropy.
• Three to five years of experience in fundraising databases, preferably Raiser's Edge or similar software.
• Knowledge of development systems, financial reporting related to fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Process all hospital gifts and pledges, including major gifts, complex gifts, grants, online giving, and payroll gifts.
• Assist in documentation, tracking and reporting of gifts and pledges; support mailings for events and donor communications.
• Enter and maintain Funds, Appeals, Campaigns and Events in the database; ensure data integrity.
• Provide training materials for gift entry processes and perform quality control updates.
• Generate reports, prepare acknowledgments letters, and assist with monthly closings.
• Coordinate event-related data collection, mailing lists, and final event closing reports.
