Job summary

Granite VNA in Concord, NH seeks a Development Associate for Annual Giving to advance donor relations. You will cultivate, solicit, steward, and retain individual donors, building a sustainable base of philanthropic support and implementing annual giving strategies.

You will manage a portfolio of donors, collaborate with the Development and Communications teams, coordinate appeals, and ensure timely recognition of donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of work experience in development and fundraising, or non-profit healthcare preferred.
• Raiser’s Edge NXT experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages and grows Granite VNA's annual giving program through the cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention of individual donors.
• Builds and manages a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospective donors, developing meaningful relationships that encourage continued and increased philanthropic support.
• Conducts personal outreach to donors and prospects through phone calls, meetings, written communication, and other engagement opportunities.
• Develops and implements strategies to retain current donors, renew annual gifts, re-engage lapsed donors, and acquire new donors.
• Collaborates with the Director of Donor Relations and Development team to establish annual giving revenue, donor retention, donor acquisition, and donor engagement goals.
• Participates in the planning and execution of annual giving appeals and campaigns, including direct mail, digital communications, email, and other fundraising strategies.
• Ensures donors receive meaningful and timely stewardship and recognition that reflects their generosity and impact.
