Job summary

Granite VNA is seeking a Development Associate to advance its annual giving program by cultivating and stewarding individual donors. Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations, you will manage a portfolio of donors, implement annual giving strategies, and collaborate with the Development and Communications teams to boost revenue and donor engagement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least three years in development or fundraising, and experience with donor databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of work experience in development and fundraising, or non-profit healthcare preferred.
• Raiser’s Edge NXT experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages and grows Granite VNA's annual giving program through cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention of individual donors.
• Builds and manages a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects, developing meaningful relationships for continued support.
• Conducts personal outreach to donors and prospects through calls, meetings, written communication, and other engagement opportunities.
• Develops and implements strategies to retain current donors, renew gifts, re-engage lapsed donors, and acquire new donors.
• Collaborates with the Director of Donor Relations and Development team to set revenue, retention, acquisition, and engagement goals.
• Plans and executes annual giving appeals and campaigns, including direct mail, digital communications, emails, and other fundraising activities.
