The Boston Symphony Orchestra is seeking a Donor Relations and Ticketing Associate to manage donor engagement and provide concierge ticketing for Board members and top donors, ensuring timely communications and accurate ticketing support.
You will work with the Development and Ticketing Services teams, use Tessitura for donations and ticketing tasks, and assist with donor recognition projects, galas, and stewardship efforts, while maintaining confidentiality and outstanding customer service.
Job Description
The Donor Relations and Ticketing Associate will be responsible for managing multiple Donor Relation projects and working with colleagues to ensure donors are shown gratitude for their gifts, reinforcing the impact their generosity has on the organization's mission.
Central to this role will be to provide concierge ticketing to Board members and the BSO's most generous donors, which requires excellent customer service, a comprehensive knowledge of donor benefits, and a thorough understanding of ticketing operations, schedules, and policies.
Additionally, the Donor Relations and Ticketing Associate will support the Manager of Donor Relations and Ticketing to implement donor recognition projects and stewardship efforts.
Support the Donor Relations team at select concerts and Development events.
Hours and location may vary due to concert schedules.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work in-person at Tanglewood during the summer season.
Ability to work hybrid in Boston when the orchestra is in residence at Symphony Hall.

The nature of this job requires that the employee work on-site as a regular work routine. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use the computer and phone, carry office supplies and/or tickets to various locations within Symphony Hall and across the Tanglewood campus, and communicate by email, phone, and in-person.
Pay Rate: $22 - 24 per hour
