Job summary

The Donor Relations and Ticketing Associate at the Boston Symphony Orchestra will manage multiple donor relation projects while delivering concierge ticketing to Board members and major donors. The role requires excellent customer service, strong knowledge of donor benefits, and understanding of ticketing operations, schedules, and policies.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience in customer service required.
• Prior work experience with ticketing preferred.
• Experience and/or interest in the arts or music preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-level customer service for donor ticketing requests via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Understand and communicate donor benefits as they relate to ticketing assistance.
• Support donor relations and ticketing projects from the Manager of Donor Relations and Ticketing.
• Utilize Tessitura to process tickets, renew subscriptions, maintain waitlists, exchange tickets, and update donor records.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to manage donor tickets related to corporate benefits.
• Assist Development Events team with ticketing for major fundraising galas and donor recognition events.
• Support the Donor Relations team at select concerts and Development events.
