Job summary

Discovery Life Sciences is seeking a Donor Recruitment Coordinator to support local community recruitment events, screenings, onboarding, and donor engagement. The role involves hybrid work with on-site attendance for non-event days and travel for recruitment events.

You will partner with marketing and IRB-compliance teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high-quality donor experiences while maintaining timely follow-up communications and referrals.

Qualifications

• Must-have qualifications include: High school or GED; Associate degree preferred; 3–4 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and marketing events in the local community.
• Research vendors and selections based on donor requirements, event type, and cost.
• Develop event requirements and coordinate with teams to meet them, including attendance at meetings and info sessions.
• Develop/manage recruitment strategies and materials in accordance with IRB requirements and submit to regulatory for IRB approvals.
• Work with teams to finalize contracts, payment, and day-of-event logistics.
• Establish relationships with local businesses and future referral partners.
• Maintain social media presence before, during, and after events, and encourage donor reviews.
• Coordinate content for event materials and swag with the marketing team.
• Handle day-of-event duties including setup, staffing, weather delays, and host communication.
• Post-event follow-up and donor onboarding processes; promote referral programs and ongoing donor engagement.
• Use multiple software platforms to identify eligible donors and serve as initial contact for new donors.
